Wellness That Honors Your Whole Being
Does modern wellness culture leave you feeling like something's missing - like you need an approach that honors your complex, lived story, and special constitution of mind, body, spirit? As a Taiwanese-American curious seeker who navigated immigration, creative burnout, depression and chronic health conditions, I learned that healing isn't linear—it's deeply personal. My transformation through embodied self-care, mindfulness and yoga therapy showed me that true healing happens when we integrate every aspect of our lived experience, honoring the incredible wisdom your body already holds. As a lifelong learner and certified yoga therapist, I help you discover practices that feel authentic to who you are, not who wellness culture says you should be. Ready to have that conversation?

The Cleveland Clinic defines yoga therapy as a process to empower you to improve your health and well-being through the practice of yoga. In other words, yoga therapy is a whole-body approach to better health by using the tools of yoga to meet your specific physical, mental and emotional needs and goals. You’re an active participant on your path to wellness.
I believe this is a succinct and understandable definition, if you are new to this term. For more in-depth information on yoga therapy from the Cleveland Clinic, continue reading here.
The International Association of Yoga Therapists’ definition of Yoga Therapy also shares a comprehensive definition and explanation which you can read more about here.
