  • Elevate OM: A Cannabis and Yoga Experience

    Sun, Oct 19, 2025, 3pm-5:30pm

For thousands of years, both yoga and cannabis have served as pathways to deeper self-connection and healing. This signature workshop explores how these ancient practices can work together to enhance mindfulness, soften resistance, and create space for profound inner exploration. Through cannabis education, community insights, intentional consumption (optional), and unhurried, mindful movement, you'll discover how plant medicine can deepen your yoga practice and expand your capacity for presence. The experience includes slow flow yoga, restorative postures, guided meditation, and integration time for reflection and journaling. Whether you're a curious beginner or returning participant seeking to deepen your understanding, you'll gain insights into how conscious elevation can support your healing journey. Spots fill quickly for this afternoon of elevated breath and connection. BYO cannabis - consumption optional, respect essential.

  • Journey Into Sound: Attuning to Stillness

    Sun, Nov 16, 2025, 3pm-4:30pm

Sound has been used for healing and spiritual connection across cultures for thousands of years. In this meditative journey of deep listening, therapeutic sound vibrations from singing bowls, chimes, and other healing instruments guide you into profound states of relaxation and self-attunement. Carefully selected frequencies help shift your brainwaves into restorative states while creating a sonic landscape that naturally calms your nervous system and dissolves stress. As the sounds wash over you, you'll journey inward to reconnect with your inner wisdom and rediscover the stillness and peace that's always been waiting within. This practice of sonic attunement allows your body's natural healing mechanisms to activate while you find your way home to yourself. No experience necessary—simply come as you are and let the vibrations do the work.

  • Slowing Down for Self-Care

    Friday, June 6, 2025 6:30pm - 8:30pm EST

Take a moment and hit your pause button with an evening of self-care and slowing down. But, what does engaging in that actually mean for you? The term “self-care” has become a trendy term in the wellness world so let’s redefine it for ourselves, in community.

We live in a world where our nervous systems are constantly taxed with various types of stress in our daily routines and throughout our environments. Restorative yoga is a gentle, prop-supported practice that is about intentional relaxation. By practicing rest to help reduce cortisol levels, we promote the rest and digest functions of our parasympathetic nervous system, which is essential for our overall well being.

Join Jenny for some intentional journaling to help redefine what self-care means to you, some slow flow movement and pranayama before diving into a soothing restorative practice. Rest will be amplified with a sound journey via bells, singing bowls and other instruments. We will explore a series of supported postures designed to encourage an opening of the chakras and soften your entire being into an easeful state of calm. Meditation will round out your practice and send you home with a renewed sense of what it means to take care of you, the #1 most important person you can take care of.

This workshop is for all levels and interested, curious individuals; no prior yoga experience is necessary. Please bring a journal + writing instrument and wear comfortable clothes you can move and rest in.

  • Elevate OM: A Cannabis and Yoga Experience

Sunday, April 20, 2025, 3:00pm - 5:30pm at Kala Yoga Brooklyn (Bushwick location)

Due to requests and popular demand, Elevated OM is returning to Kala Yoga in Bushwick! Come be in community with like-minded yogis and plant medicine on 4/20!

Explore the therapeutic and whole-person expansive experience of combining mindful cannabis consumption with an intentional slow flow, restorative yoga and meditation practice.

For thousands of years, yoga has been a spiritual and wellness practice helping humans hone a deeper connection of mind, body and spirit. In similar longevity, cannabis has been used for medicinal, therapeutic and spiritual purposes to support people in expanding their mind and helping them balance their internal systems. Intentional, thoughtful combining of these two modalities may assist practitioners in opening additional pathways to promote healing and connection of the mind/body complex.

If you are curious about blending these two practices together to support your wellness journey, join Jenny in exploring conscious elevation with herbal medicine and dropping into your physical body with slow, intentional movement before landing in stillness. This workshop includes space for mindful cannabis consumption and time to connect with community and like-minded individuals. A brief presentation about the role of cannabis in wellness and why yoga and cannabis pair well together will be offered. A slow flow yoga practice that concludes with restorative postures and a guided meditation will round out your experience.

There will be allotted time after practice to pause and reflect, integrate, journal, and/or prepare for your transition back to life outside of this experience and the studio. Feel free to bring a journal or anything you wish to have during this integration time.

Please note that this is a BYO cannabis event. You are welcome to bring your favorite, legally-allowed amount of cannabis or cannabis product(s) for personal use to attend this workshop. There is NO cannabis for sale at this event. Jenny will share examples of therapeutic products that pair well with the yoga practice. Consumption is not required to join in on this practice, however, shared respect for the plant, yoga practice and your fellow curious movers is.

Jenny encourages you to reach out with any questions prior to the workshop by sending her a message HERE.
